View Videos

In 2015, to promote high achievement in literacy, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), partnered with the Organization of Eastern and Caribbean States (OECS) through the Early Learners Programme (ELP) to improve reading achievements of learners in Grades K through 3 in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As one of its closeout activities the Education Development Management Unit (EDMU) of the OECS Commission including the ELP’s project management team (PMT) with the assistance of the project’s branding and marking consultant has created an ELP video book.

This video book is a compilation of all the audio-visual products created during the final year of the ELP.  It features public service announcements, public relations videos and best practices videos emanating from the project. The intention is to encourage all involved in early grade reading to have all the products easily accessible by clicking the relevant link.

The four video series categories are as follows:

The EDMU would like to thank all those who have contributed to the creation of this video book including but not limited to USAID, Ministers of Education, Permanent Secretaries, Chief Education Officers, National Focal Points, ELP Coordinators, Education Officers, Principals, Educators, Parents and Students.  Specials thanks to all of the individuals portrayed in the videos as well as the production crew.

We look forward to every child reading at or above grade level.
